Anchor settings

Anchor is a special label (link) that can be set to any section of the site.This label can be used in the menu to navigate the page or use the button to quickly redirect the user to the desired section. Most often anchors are used on long one-page sites.

How to set up an anchor

1. Select the desired section of the site and click on the widget to which you want to create an anchor link.

2. Click on the anchor icon.


3. In the window that opens, enter a name for this link. The name must consist of letters of the Latin alphabet or numbers. Click “Done”.

4. Now, the created anchor link can be used to navigate in the Menu or add it to a specific button.

How to add anchor link to the Menu

1.To add the created link to the section in the Site Menu, open the Menu settings.




2. In the “Menu” window at the bottom of the page list you will find a form for adding a menu item consisting of three fields.

3. In the first field enter the name for this section, which will be visible to the user when using the site.

 

4. In the second field, select the link type “Widget”.



5. In the third field, select the anchor that you created in the previous step for the section you need.



6. Click the “Add” button and then the “Done” button to apply the changes.

How to add an anchor link to a button

  1. Open button settings.  



2.  In the “Links to” field, select “Widget”.

3. In the “Link value” field, select the anchor for the section you need.



4. Click “Done” to save the applied changes.

To check how links navigate, go to preview mode. To do this, click on the “Publish” button in the upper right corner.
